Need boi-ish clothes?

Great news, bois!

This post comes with new, upcoming UK website www.tomboi-uk.com/ attached to it.

That's right, FINALLY a clothing website dedicated to boyish lesbians.

Part of tomboi's mission statement is to provide comfortable, unique clothes for lesbians who prefer a more boyish look.

The company is pretty new, so there aren't a wide range of stuff there yet, but what they have so far is good a start as any.

Available on the website are tops, (which are suitably matched to specific 'L Word' characters) bottoms and accessories, including a range of super gay belt buckles. Again, stock is quite limited because the site is quite fresh, but you can sign up to their mailing list quickly and easily that will update you on any new stock they receive.

Good luck and happy shopping!

Skins recaps the day after the episodes air!

If, like so many Skins fans, you live in the US and can't watch for months but can't wait that long, then look no further.

That's right, funky new review site The Daily Wiggle are publishing a re-cap of the new series of Skins every Friday before pretty much any other website.

Good news (maybe) for you: The review will be written by yours truly. That means you can expect plenty of information on this gorgeous pair:

The first 3 episodes have already been re-capped, so head to www.thedailywiggle.com to catch up! Episode 2 was all about Emily (played by Kathryn Prescott), so expect plenty of dyke drama there.

This Friday, Emily's twin sister Katie (Megan Prescott) gets her turn in the forefront, which probably means there'll be quite a bit of Naomily thrown in there.

I look forward to seeing you there!

AfterEllen, We Salute You.

I'm guessing that most of you stumbled upon this blog because of AfterEllen.com.

If you didn't, and you still don't know what AfterEllen is, I'm suggesting that you get there right now.

A lot of my advertising comes courtesy of AE, with links to my blog at the end of every comment I make. (Yeah, I've never published a picture of me on the blog, so click
here if you want to see me.)

Therefore, because of all the good they do for me, I thought they deserved a shout-out from me.

AfterEllen is possibly one of the best, if not the best, lesbian and bisexual entertainment website online today. They often publish new, official gay information before any other websites or news-site, giving gay women the resources they need efficiently.

Founded by Sarah Warn, the website was started in 2002, after she realized that there was so little great lesbian content on the web.

Just recently, the entire site was taken over by writer Karman Kregloe, who also happens to be married to out comedian Bridget McManus, who also happens to vlog on the site. It's like a big chain of inter-connectedness.

Many of the writers also vlog about the pros and cons of lesbianism, entertainment and general civil rights. Great shows such as Skins and Grey's Anatomy are also re-capped, alongside reviews of music, competitions and the occasional opinion poll for the readers to vote on.

So there you have it.

I can't really do the site justice. It's done so much for the lesbian community single-handedly, so you should just get there as soon as you can and check it out.

But don't forget to keep coming here! ;)

Amy Winehouse Comes Out

You've probably already heard about it, but Ms. Amy Winehouse is the second Brit this year to have come out of the closet!

Amy, who is best known for her soulful songs such as Rehab and Back To Black, recently came out after she admitted she had a crush on Britain's answer to Megan Fox, Girls Aloud beauty Cheryl Cole.

Apparently, Amy said:

"So what? I like girls as well. I have had relationships with other women but that doesn't mean I don't still love Blake. There is something about being with a woman that is very satisfying. I don't care what people think about me being bi — I do what feels good."

I, for one, never saw this coming. We often hear of Amy's undying love for Blake in the news, but it's nice that she felt that need to be honest and let us know.

Oh Amy, we do love you.
