I COME OUT!

Yeah. I've given you 3 celesbian outings this year, and the fourth one is mine!

That's right, I came out to my parents yesterday.

I'm pretty much already out to everyone else anyway: members of my family and my friends already knew.

I know you're also probably thinking 'You should come out to your parents first!' But I have good reasons why I didn't. My Dad especially is usually extremely homophobic and my Mother cringes every time a gay person is on TV.

Also, I knew I could trust and rely on many of my friends and family more than I could rely on my parents not to judge me. Sounds really bad, but I just couldn't.

Anyway, you should all know that the whole experience has been quite strange, but I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Turns out, they weren't overjoyed, but my Dad took it way better than I thought.

I encourage anyone to come out to their parents, but only when they feel they are ready. You'll feel so much better when you have.

First Celesbian Outing of the Year...

As far as I know, British singer Lady Sovereign is the first Celesbian to come out of the closet this year.

For the record Sov, when you look like that, we already know you're gay. ;)

Anyway, just last week, pint-sized Sov came out on the British version of Celebrity Big Brother.

As soon as she entered the house, the show's presenter, Davina McCall, began rumours claiming that little Sov was a great dyke.

And guess what?

She was right!

Last year was a great year for lesbian and bisexual celebrities coming out of the closet, gaining more visibility for 'our kind'.

I'm sure we all have a list of starlets who we wish were gay and also a list of who we know are gay but just haven't confirmed it yet. (Think Jodie Foster.)

But who will be next?

I have my fingers crossed for Jessica Capshaw. (Yes, I know she's married. To a man. Just let me dream, dammit!)

Lily... Marry Me?

You might remember a while ago that Brit popstar Lily Allen announced that she once 'snogged lesbian twins'.

Well the reason I didn't pick up on this before was because I didn't really like Allen that much. But after seeing her in concert this week, I'm actually in love with the woman.

She slated world leaders in true Brit fashion, sang like a true star and danced like no one was watching. All this is 3 sexy outfits. Brilliant.

So I'm just saying, Lily, if you ever want to 'snog' me, I'm totally in acceptance.

Marriage is on the cards, it seems.

Clementine Ford comes out!

I for one thinks that Clementine Ford, daughter of legendary actress Cybill Shepherd and currently the star of original lesbian TV series The L Word, is totally talented and extremely hot.

So when she mentioned in the February edition of UK lesbian and bisexual magazine 'Diva' that she preferred not to label herself, imagine how happy I was.

Ford said "I never want to put a label on myself — but knowing that not everyone comes from such a liberal place, when something like Prop 8 comes out, you realize it’s important to stand up and be counted. A little gay kid in a small town is more important than whether I want a label."

There has been speculation over whether the lovely lady is gay or bisexual, but my guess is that she is bisexual, as she has been married to a guy before... Still, great visibility for us homos!

She also told the magazine that her and her siblings would bring both guys and girls home, and 'as long as they were human, it didn't matter.' Amen to that!

Cat On The Prowl.

As you may or may not know, I'm a HUGE fan of lesbian and bisexual site AfterEllen.com. And just recently, as I've had more spare time, I've started watching more and more vlogs. (That's short for 'video blogs' if you're not so tech savvy...)

Anyway, my personal favorite vlogs over at AE are 'Brunch With Bridget', 'This Just Out With Liz Feldman' and the late 'We're Getting Nowhere', (R.I.P!) starring Dante's Cove beauty Jill Bennett.

As I've never mentioned it before, I thought I should mention the greatness of one of the latest additions to video blog family 'Cat On The Prowl.'


Hosted by the completely adorable lesbian comic Cat Davis, Cat On The Prowl is funny, clever and downright entertaining! If you've never visited AfterEllen before, I suggest you do. It's especially good for lesbian/bisexual women who are still in the closet and have no other means of expressing their thoughts on their gay lifestyles. There are even forums you can talk to other gay people in.

Megan Fox is hot for the ladies.

So clearly all lesbians (the sane ones anyway) think Megan Fox - star of Transformers - is hot.

As unreliable as British press is these days, Megan has been reported as being bisexual in this weekend's newspaper News Of The World. Being one victim of false-belief brought by the British newspaper, I decided to research this idea further on the Internet.

Apparently, (to my delight) the rumors about Ms. Fox are true. She's actually been quoted telling various sources that her ultimate woman would be Angelina Jolie or Olivia Wilde (pictured below), star of The OC and House. Both women are favorites of many lesbians.

Megan has been quoted saying "I mean, I could see myself in a relationship with a girl. I think that all humans were born with the ability the be attracted to both sexes." Amen to that! My prayers have been answered. Now I'm just waiting for the day when LA Ink's Kat Von D confesses her undying love to me.

Lindsay Ronson?

So seeing as this is a lesbian blog, I thought it was about time I posted one about Lindsay Lohan, seeing as everyone seems to be talking about her these days.


Baby faced Lindsay (above) has had quite an eventful life already at the age of 22. She dealt with drugs, all-night partying, constantly being followed by the paparazzi... And obviously now there's the rumor that Lohan is in fact a queer lady.

As most of you know, Lindsay has been said to be dating Brit sensation Mark Ronson's younger sister Samantha. Samantha - a clear favorite within the lesbian community - is loved for her DJing and, of course, the fact that she is out and proud. Following these accusations, both Lindsay and Sam have posted various blogs on their MySpace pages about how they are very special to each other and have blasted homophobe Sarah Palin.

Pictures like this don't really make matters any better either.

Is it just me or does this picture give us any sort of clue?...

And to make this gossip even more juicy, there have been further allegations that Lohan & Ronson are getting married. Clearly it's 'cool to be gay' these days, so I'm just wondering if Lindsay is just playing along with this idea for some publicity. Who knows?

I guess we'll see if LoSon tie the knot...
